France eSIM — FAQ
Does the France eSIM work at Paris CDG?
Yes. Install the QR on Wi‑Fi before your flight. After landing at CDG or ORY, enable eSIM data — typically on Orange FR, SFR, or Bouygues within a few minutes.
Can I keep WhatsApp on my home number with a France eSIM?
Yes. SecretESIM France plans are data-only. Keep your physical (or primary) SIM active for WhatsApp calls and SMS, and use the eSIM for mobile data via Dual SIM.
How fast do I get the France eSIM QR?
After checkout you receive the QR / SM-DP+ profile by email, usually within minutes. Install over Wi‑Fi before you travel; most fixed-GB plans start on first use abroad.
Does the France eSIM support hotspot?
Hotspot / tethering is included on eligible SecretESIM plans — check the plan card before buy. Unlimited plans may apply fair use (FUP) to hotspot as well.
Can I use the France eSIM on the RER / metro underground?
Coverage follows the local partner network. Expect normal city coverage above ground; underground may be weaker like any local SIM.
France-only or Europe plan?
Stay in France → France eSIM. Crossing to Spain/Italy/Germany on one trip → consider Europe regional.
