Aruba eSIM vs home-network roaming

Buy a data-only Aruba eSIM from SecretESIM. The plan is supplied by eSIM Go and installs with a QR code.

SecretESIM is your secret to staying connected in Aruba — data-only eSIM, no phone number, SMS, or voice. You keep your home SIM for calls and use the travel line for internet. 18 live plans are published for this destination right now, starting from €9.99. Hotspot / tethering is allowed where the card says HOTSPOT.

Validity starts on first use in Aruba unless the card says it starts at install. That matters if you install on Wi-Fi at home a week before the flight: fixed-GB plans typically do not burn days until you land. Unlimited day-pass style plans are the exception — we print that on the card.

Unlimited Aruba eSIM is never uncapped. Fair use: 1 GB/day at full speed, then slower until the next day. If you need a hard GB cap instead, pick a fixed plan so you can see €/GB.

Operators we currently list: Digicel Aruba. When two plans offer the same GB and days, the store highlights the better price and shows the other option as “same GB, +X”.

Home-operator roaming in Aruba is often €2–€12 per day or a steep per-MB rate once the daily pass ends. A 1 GB / 7 days SecretESIM plan at €9.99 is a known cost before you fly. Use Dual SIM: home number stays reachable, data goes to SecretESIM. Turn roaming ON only on the travel line.

Top-up keeps the same ICCID when the provider allows it — no second QR. Trip planner compares N local packs vs one regional vs one global if Aruba is one stop among several. Compatible phones: iPhone XS and newer, Pixel 3+, Galaxy S20+, and other eSIM handsets in our device list. Carrier-locked phones may refuse a travel eSIM.
