Most Global fixed-GB plans start on first use abroad — install on Wi-Fi at home without burning days. Unlimited / day-pass style plans may start at install — it is printed on the plan.
Provider activation
After payment you get a QR / SM-DP+ profile by email. Install before you travel. Activation follows the selected plan’s first-use or install rule.
Hotspot & calls
Hotspot / tethering is included on eligible plans (see the card). Fair-use on unlimited applies to hotspot too. Plans are data-only: keep your home number for calls/SMS on Dual SIM.
Top-up eligibility
When the provider allows it, top up keeps the same ICCID — no second QR. Open My eSIMs for eligible options after install.
